And that special donation feature? It brought in an additional $3500 on top of pre-race money raised — roughly seven times the amount amassed live at the event in previous years.
The relationship between CapTech and the Atlanta Moon Ride continues to strengthen as we look forward to creatively engaging event participants and attendees next year and beyond.
To start, for 2020 we envision a geolocator component that allows friends and family to easily find each other before, during, and after the race (after all, those glow sticks can only go so far).
And for those who don’t do bikes, new and different ways to get non-riders more involved in the event and its supporting activities continue to be topics of lively discussions and brainstorming sessions.
